Sambuca

Alowis Sambuca is a high quality liqueur made of fresh star anise from the Mediterranean Sea region. A maceration of at least one month takes place to get the most essential oils of the anise. Afterwards, a double distillation increases the pure taste. The transparant colour is a result of this distillation. While making Alowis Sambuca, the 'aroma basket' in the pot still is filled with extra anise for more flavor.

Sambuca is mostly enjoyed neat, ice cold. Or next to a coffee or on it's own as a digestive. Yet Alowis Sambuca is possible in cocktails as well.
